Performed using Botulinum Toxin Type A. This is prescription only medication, works by blocking nerve impulses. The effect depends on where it is injected (if injected in the muscle – it reduces the excessive contraction of that muscle, if into sweat gland – reduces production of sweat. Weakening of the muscle begins to be apparent after 2-3 days with the peak effect being reached after 10-14 days. Results last 3-6 months. The procedure can be repeated after 3 months, however, injections given at shorter intervals may reduce the efficacy of the product. Microtox can be used for skin conditioning.

Dermal Fillers.

Injectable filler products are used for the treatment of facial lines and areas of dermal depression. Usually, sterile solution of cross-linked hyaluronic acid is used (sometimes with local anaesthetic lidocaine). Calcium hydroxylapatite is also used. Immediately after the injection there may be mild swelling which usually subsides within 24-48h. Dermal filler can take up to 14 days to settle. Can last anything between 6-18 months.

Side effects: allergy, lumps, visibility / palpability of the product, bruising, non-response, vascular occlusion (rare), blindness (very rare, if injected in the branch of facial artery).

Mesotherapy is essentially vitaminisation of skin. The products containing vitamins, minerals, peptides, and amino acids are injected into the skin of scalp, face, neck, and under eyes area to boost the condition. Repeated treatments are often needed to achieve the desired results (4-6 sessions). Skin Boosters are products containing ingredients (usually light forms of hyaluronic acid, or calcium hydroxylaptite) that help maintain hydration of the skin and rejuvenate it. Polynucleotides (taken from salmon) repair the skin on a DNA level, and are suitable for skin laxity, scarring, and dehydration.

Hair Treatments.

Hair mesotherapy is performed using special hair complexes containing ingredients beneficial for hair growth. The treatment is performed by injecting the product into the scalp by multiple needle pricks. The treatment requires 6 sessions 2-3 weeks apart
